Hello everyone, I replaced my broken dc connector using the pcb connector guide on this forum, thanks for all those tips. That was successful, however while i was soldering the new connector in place, i accidently knocked off the grey clip that holds the touchscreen cable in plac and broke it trying to get it put back in
Does anyone have any tips about anything i could try to get it secured, i have tried tape, but dont believe that let it get a good connection and low temp hot glue but that was too thick to let the video connector make connection, so i was unable to test that.
Also is the black cable that connects to the screen part of the touchscreen , i connected it to the same solder point it came from, so i dont believe thats an issue, im just unsure of its us or if that would cause the touchscreen not work if improperly connected
Can you tell me what the part name of the board is, i tried to google Arnova 10 G2 mainboard and motherboard and didnt find a replacement part
Thank yall for any tips and infomation you can provide

Hi, Exactly the same happened to me. Just using it with a mouse now. Did you have any luck getting a connector? Cant believe how small these connectors are.
