The new rooted firmware doesn't come with the stock Calendar app. Just download any Calendar from the Market, I am using the Jorte Calendar which is quite good though.
For synchronising with Google Calendar with the calendar app, some calendar related components need to be installed and they seemed missing from the firmware:
- Google CalendarSyncAdapter.apk
Tried to search from Internet and download the above apps. Once installed, you can choose to synchronise with google Calendar from your Calendar app.
For the browser opens and just keep shut down itself, make sure do not update the Flash Player to 11.x , remaining using version 10.2 or 10.3 at this stage will be fine.
(Disable the auto update by going into Market, press the Menu and choose 'My Apps', then click into the installed Flash Player, uncheck the 'Auto Update" box.
I have downloaded many calendars and they wont let me put in a appointment or birthday saying that they cannot link to any other calendars...They are nice to look at but if I cannot get it to work...then crap! Also, why cant I post in places like this on my tablet It wont bring up my keyboard so I cannot post in here, or on my school's website. WTF?
Okay, I got this tablet just yesterday. I do love it but it seems to have many downfalls. I cannot get skype to work AT ALL, half the android market apps that I know they offer I cannot get like for my school. Now, the darn FaceBook app wont work...I know I am signing in with all the correct information but it keeps saying there is an error and wont allow me to sign in. Anyone else having this problem or not a fix? Are all tablets this irritating?
LStewart6,,,not all tablets are this irritating, just this one
