Hi, first post so bear with me lol
Bought one of these for the wife yesterday, all was fine until she switched it on this afternoon, all it does is display the word "Arnova" and flashes around every 10 secs or so, presumably booting up.
I have held down the power button for 10 seconds to reboot, this made no difference so I placed a needle into the reset switch and clicked it, it switched off and booted but still nothing but the flashing name, any ideas at all ?
Thanks in advance.
Looks like Arnova quality assurance is still quite random, you probably got your hands on a faulty device, it sometimes happens [Image Can Not Be Found]
Considering it's brand new, you should either get the product replaced or try to fix it yourself.
You'll need to flash the firmware, have a look here:
/blog/forum/arnova-10-g2/arnova-10-g2-bricked-after-firmware-upgrade/
The firmware is available on this page, look for the Arnova 10 G2 firmware.

We are still late in completing the tutorial and video, it should be done in the next days, in the meantime the links above should help.
Good luck [Image Can Not Be Found]

Many thanks for the prompt reply, I shall try the options above but as it is still in boot screen would these work ?
Yes, the Rockchip flashing tool is a very low level solution that helps fixing a tablet that does not boot. It can be used in your case or other situations even if there is no display when starting the tablet.

Rockchip flashing tools are sometimes a bit tricky at first...
I totally understand your frustration and it's probably not worth spending time fixing by yourself the manufacturers problem.
Good luck for your next purchase [Image Can Not Be Found]

On the subject of purchasing what outlets would you reccomend as the retailer I got this from has no more in stock
I don't know much about UK, I could only mention retailers where I live (France)
Maybe other fellow Brits forum members could help you...

Hi
I would recommend Amazon France, as Amazon is an international company you should get good service from them, dont know how good they are on price but I live in the UK and got mine from Comet for £149.99(174.691 EUR).
Suppose it is like anything you buy shop around, good luck. [Image Can Not Be Found]
