Hi guys,

I'm facing an issue with my good old 10G2 tablet. I tried flashing a newer firmware (4.0 ICS) but an error occured within the flashing tool.

Here's what I did:

> Put the tablet in flashing mode (reset + vol+)

> used Rockchip Batch tool v1.7 (also tried v1.5 to no avail) using RESTORE option

> tried flashing kasty-ez_arn10g2-40-0463-CWM_2G.zip firmware (update.img)

==> got an error (update failed, or something similar)

==> the tablet wouldn't turn on, so I decided to re-flash the original firmware found on arnova's website.

> tried re-flashing with Rockchip Batch tool v1.7 and v1.5

==> *** Restore Done Success ***

BUT the tablet won't turn on. It's plugged and the LED is green, but I can't wake it up (using power or reset)

Someone has an idea ??

Thanks in anticipation

Laurent

Exactly in the same situation.

Tried to upgrade via all the tools I could find, the only update that doesnt fails is the original firmware.

Yet the tabled won't boot..

I noticed that even if the original firmware is the easiest to flash, I could also flash other firmwares by retrying several times (the bigger the file, the greater the chance of failure)

the issue is that after each reboot, the tablet won't power on again. I have to wait several hours to be able to switch on again! I don't even think it's related to the battery, as I notice there's some juice left when it powers on at last.

i'm puzzled...
