Im having some real hassle with updating or even putting my 10G2 back to stock properly, il try and explain best i can
I flashed the EZ firmware by placing the img on the root of the sd, updated fine. Installed google play, dloaded a few games ect turned device off, went to bed. Next morning device wouldn't turn back on.
Used Rockchip to flash stock firmware, didn't work for a few times as i got the 'download firmware fail' error. finally went through ok, loaded up the g2 but i have things missing like applib and stock pictures, not 100% sure what else is missing.
Tried using Rockchip to flash other firmware (EZ and MorkaMod) and always get the 'download firmware fail' error. Tried the EZ rom again by placing img on sd again and works great until i turn the device off for longer than a few mins at which point it wont come back on.
Anyone help here as ive been at this for hours and im not sure what else to try.. at this point i'd be happy to just get back to normal stock.
*Edit* i should add that im on windows 7 32bit
What option do you use on rockchip tools UPGRADE or RESTORE ?
Used restore pretty much everytime although I did try upgrade with even less success.
I put the ez Rom on again last night, everything worked as it should but same thing again this morning, tablet won't turn on, just a green light when plugged into charger that turns red when power or reset are held (power fir about 10sec)
Ok slight update. Flashed the stock rom back on it, installed appslib manually. Main problem i have now is if i turn it off for any period of time it doesn't come back on. Same thing as the EZ rom green light when plugged into charger that turns red when power or reset are held.
Well, I can't find anything else to try apart from what you have done so far.
From what I understand it looks like an hardware problem on your tablet, either on the tablet battery or power related functions, or maybe some defective flash memory that doesn't keep the data right or gets corrupted.
