You will find some info here: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/arnova-10-g2-tablet-bundle-philly-com/

Flashing a non Philly tablet with Philly's firmware won't work.

While you shouldn't use the Philadelphia Newspapers' firmware on a non-PNI tablet, you can install the apps, on stock non-PNI firmware, or Kasty, or any other custom firmware for the Arnova 10 G2.

Any idea why it wouldn't work?  I assume the Philly table is a standard 10 G2 with special firmware.

Has anybody tried flashing a new-PNI tablet with the Philly firmware?

Also, Paul.... if you have the regular 10 G2, you can download the Press Reader app from the Amazon App Store.  If you have a digital subscription to the Inquirer, you can use that app to read it.  It's essentially the same as one of the apps in the Philly Firmware
