hi all, i have got root on my arnova 10g2 and have the market installed and running fine and well. however, i am unable to download any tablet specific apps, market sees the device as a phone.
does anybody know of a way to remedy this, would be the crowning feature on my tablet!
hi unfortunatley that is down to the android os 2.3 version 2.x was designed with the phone in mind so is not tablet friendly when it come down to dablet specific apps version 3.x was designed for the tablet however but i think it puts more strain on the hardware and makes the tablet become more expensive

If your market is working properly than when you click on apps than there will be a tile there that says tablet apps, look in there for apps that are better suited
For the resolution of a tablet. Also tablet specific apps or games generally have hd usually in the title like Dolphin hd for example.
Although earlier versions of Android did not have support for tablet resolution, Gingerbread added support for tablets, but honeycomb was written specifically for tablets and the newer Icecream sandwich supports both tablets and phones in a more uniform way.
