Sheesh.... I had no idea it worked this way.
If you take the first rooted firmware and copy it to the internal memory as update.img and unplug the USB cord, it installs and you are rooted. However if you use the recovery mode and the RK batch tool to install the rooted firmware, it is not a rooted system!
I was scratching my head all day today because I was always flashing using the RKBatch tool and could not figure out why the system was not rooted?
So why is it that way? Am I missing something?
