I purchased my Arnova 10 g2 in December of last year. I originally bought it to read e-comics but have soon become to use it as a laptop substitute for college work etc.
I'm having great difficulty connecting the tablet to the campus's wi-fi. As it's a hidden network it requires you to enter the name of the wi-fi name and i can't find the right place to do it.
I have an internet dongle and usually use this but it would be a great help if I could connect it to the student internet.
The I.T. staff has suggested updating my firmware because the required box is available on HoneyComb. I'm currently using the firmware from "Arc Tools". Is it possible to update my firmware to HoneyComb?
From what i've briefly looked at the "MorkaMod" update is only a HoneyComb like interface update, does this mean the update is only for aesthetic purposes? Will it do what i'm looking for?
If I can update the firmware will this erase all the data on my tablet?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. An added apology if the answer to these questions are elsewhere on the page.
All the best,
