I was really annoyed that after I did a firmware upgrade there were several new bloatware apps that were included but that I don't want. How do I get rid of them? I have searched for a way to root the device but found nothing.

Thanks for your reply. I did that but I still don't have root access.

I have done 2 firmware upgrades. The App store now works perfectly. But no root. I am running out of space on the tablet. I want to get rid of apps that I don't need. Under the original firmware the bloatware apps could be uninstalled. But when they released the newest firmware they added bloatware apps and also locked them so they could not be uninstalled. I don't know why they did this and I think it is wrong for them to abuse their users/customers in this way.
