I'm trying to update my Arnova 10b G2 using this procedure: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/flashing-arnova-g2-rockchip-2918-rockchip-flashing-tool/
The description of this procedure makes no sense.
It tells you to shut down the tablet, start flashing tool and to press + volume button and reset pinhole. The description says the screen will turn black now. Strange, since the tablet was already off thus the screen was black in the first place!
I can't get the tablet into flashing mode.
Also, the moment you press the reset pinhole, Windows 7 sees the devices and says there are problems with the driver. Not asking to point at the location for a driver (driver is included in the flashtool package). When you let go of the reset and + button, it disconnects, so I'm short of hands to both pushing those buttons and using keyboard/mouse on my PC.
Perhaps I'm reading and doing it all wrong, I've someone can shed some light on this, I would be gratefull.
