I have a problem with my Arnova 10 G2.
Original ICS 4.0.3 was installed.
To get Google Play on the device, I have the kasty-ez_arn10g2-40-0463 2G installed.
But unfortunately I have the problem so that the touchscreen is not responding properly. About 1 cm offset.
So I wanted to flash my device back to the original firmware.
Unfortunately, there is not the ICS 4.0.3 on the Arnova website.
Therefore, I have tried to install the firmware using Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7 there offered for download.
The flash will work even if, but when the touch screen calibration, the device stops responding. Not responding to touch.
Can someone help me, how do I get an original firmware on the device again probably someone?
Did you used the restore option to flash the tablet ?
The firmware with which you flashed the tablet is based on the original firmware, dumped from another 10 G2.
There is no other firmware available beside this.
So now I got my 10G2 exchanged for a new one with stock 4.03.
Now I have created a firmware dump.
The update.img has a size of 197 478 404 bytes.
How can I check if the file is ok now?
And what is the best method to flash in an emergency the file back onto the device?
When I load the update.img in the Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7, I get an error message.
Have a look here to understand what you actually dumped.
You will never be able to flash back the tablet with what you dumped.
When you dump the files from the tablet using a linux method, you will have to rebuild an update.img
