Please read up about 1 page.  There are many instructions on this issue.  The first one being that it does not install a icon on your desktop.  Look in your apps drawer.

i had to use arctools.60 and choose the rootless install. not sure if this is only for the Arnova 10 G2 Philly tab or not.

the installation went well... but then after using arc tools to get the market, very few apps are available to download...
can sum1 help me with it?? the market fix procedure didn't help..

edit* - now i tried to re flash everything and i can't get access to market.. the error message of - 'can't establish a reliable data connection to the server.' occurs..
tried the fix procedure to delete cache and data and reboot and retry.. still nothing.. 🙁

I am as we speak working on a new ROM version!

One that I hope will solve the Arctools problems and give more space to /system.

Hang tight I will have it up soon after I test all scenarios.

Hi I'm new to the G2, Got mine yesterday, looking forward to seeing the new rom.  Just got to read up on flashing it first.  Have done my phone and ipods with firmwares, but just dont want to brick this yet.  How is the G2 for getting out of flahing troubles?

The 10 G2 is pretty much fool proof!  You can pretty much get out of any brick event using RKBatch tool or RKAndroid tool 1.29 as long as you have a working update.img.  I cant even count how many times I bricked mine! 😉

So, Just got the tablet and rooted it. Very easy to do.

Thnx Bob!!!

One question: Is it possible to get some pre-installed apps back, like QuickOffice?

Regards,

Frank

You could install the GetJar app & then get Smart Office for free 🙂

finless, would it be possible to add the ability to hide the top navbar to your updated rom? Sve

Several people have asked about this and there seems to be solution as yet. It hides the first line on each page on kindle.

Cheers

I have no idea how to do that.  It's probably a kernal change?  I'll look into it and if I can find out how to do it I will try.
