The error 28 while installing the Market was a small issue in current ArcTools update (0.54).

It has been fixed in latest release 0.55, please update ArcTools, either by:

- switching to a different tab while in the application (the update should be offered)

- downloading the updated APK from Arctablet blog (see essential tools on the right side of the blog)

- waiting a few hours until the new release get pushed to Appslib.

Let me know how it goes.

Downloaded from Arctablet and works fine

Thank you

Hey CyberSoft, great work mate on this rooted rom.
Works perfect!!

Question though.....can you make this rom support A2SD+??
The internal memory of 250mb makes me wanna kill my tablet, so it would be great to use an ext3/4 partition.

I cant install this update, I follow all the instructions, it restarts

and then It gives the following error

Image Enlarger

In this menu I can scroll using the volume changing button

Choosing anything isn't possible (or I haven't found it yet), using the power button isn't working

What can I do to install this custom software?

I redownloaded the image file, and I have put the image file and the zip in the root, and now It's updating fine!

I have installed the new Arnova firmware for the Android market etc and have noticed that I have been getting device storage is getting low notification, I dont know if this was happening before I installed this I cant remember, anyway I deleted some applications and made sure that the apps that could be moved to the sd card where moved. I presumed that the Arnova 10g2 had 4gb of  internal storage.

Going into storage setting I see the information below:

SD CARD - TOTAL SPACE 14.91 GB

AVAILABLE SPACE 14.73 GB ( i HAVE 16GB CARD INSTALLED)

NAND FLASH - TOTAL SPACE 2.81GB

       AVAILABLE SPACE 2.19GB

INTERNAL STORAGE - AVAILABLE SPACE 31.81MB

I installed Android system info from the android market to get more info and notice that on the dashboard of the program it reports that the internal memory is MAX 247.92MB and available 31.81mb and the system ram is 512MB and free 100mb.

Maybe I am been stupid but how can I be running out of storage space when I have 4gb internal storage plus a 16gb memory card and the nand flash states 2.19gb available space.

please help

Please tell me it wasn't the Philly Newspapers Arnova.  If it was, you're bricked.  Do a warranty return and don't try to root it.  Apparently the firmware is just different enough so that the HTCmania exploit doesn't work.  Bummer, I know.  I was looking forward to root, now I'm looking forward to Archos returning a refurbed tablet before my next business trip!

No windows 7 or anything before that will not run on Arm chips. The new windows 8 will run on arm chips but not sure if it would be possible on this type of setup. [Image Can Not Be Found]

You have exactly the same problem as I am facing now as the internal storage on my Arnova is only 28MB left, it's hardly to download any more applications.

More issues I am facing with: after download the newest ARCTools from Appslib, Market is running good except:

1.  The default Android Calendar is missing that I used to sync with Google.  Tried Jorte but cannot establish the sync

2. Downloaded and installed GMAIL from Market, Gmail account can be added without problem, but it missed the auto-sync options which require prseeing "Refresh" manually. But the auto-sync from the built-in EMAIL app is working fine.
