after my epic fail of a thread see here :/blog/forum/arnova-10-g2-general/android-market-version-3-4-4-100-working/

I went back to the drawing board and downloaded every android market out after 1.82 and slowly went through the same process of elimination every time i had a f/c issue with every market i loaded, Until 3.1.3 loaded open up perfectly, i tried downloading an app and bingo it worked to then all my other apps started updating here is the link for you guys to try ,This has not been tried on a rooted device as mine is stock

 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HMW9AOJK

Gerry well done for your persistence with this.

I cant really test it myself as I have tablet with the Finless latest root with latest Market.

But compared to the Old market that you got previously from a post a few months ago it is a major improvement, so well done. Smile

P.S Great to see users putting Video tutorials up

Great news.

Just test it out please if you can by buying an app, checking that downloaded apps show up in the my apps section of the market settings Etc. Can you report back to the forum and if all well I will pin the topic so it stays near the top.

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum as I've just bought myself one of the Arnova 10 G2's.  I've found this website extremely helpful in setting up my Arnova, and thanks to this thread have now got Android Market 3.1.3 working nicely.  However, I didn't quite manage to get to it the same way as gerry did.  Let me explain...

First of all I factory reset the tablet, I re-installed applib and installed arctools. I then loaded it and selected "Default Apps And Market 3.4.4 (Rootless Install)".  It installed with no problems, I then re-booted the tablet and clicked gmail, then was able to sign in onto my gmail account successfully via wifi.  However, after that, I kept getting a force close on gmail and talk, so I used the gmail and talk files from ultimodiablo's download http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QSM6ATPB which installed and finally worked.  Then to finish off, I downloaded and transfered gerry's vending-3.1.3-signed.apk from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HMW9AOJK and I now have a working Android Market.  I've now downloaded, updated, and used several apps with no prob's.

Sorry for the long winded explanation, but I hope I've explained it well enough to help.  Perhaps it's a fluke I don't know, but I'm happy with the end result.

Installed 3.4.4 yesterday from the other thread. I am posting in here only to say that when I tried to install the other files (google framework etc) from the link in this thread, it complained about a parsing problem. I had to use the .apks from the other thread by ultimodiablo. Then I ran the 3.4.4 upload from gerry's other thread.

For some reason sometimes you get parsing error if you
Have unzipped the files on your device. Try to unzip the file
On your pc and than transfer them to your tablet to install.

To be honest, I did not know you could unzip them on the device, so I had already done it on the PC. Embarassed

I wonder if with one set of files I copied them directly to the memory card and the second time round I moved them through the USB cable. Could that have made a difference.
