While doing some research on the Android market for the Arnova 10g2 I cane across this article.

http://androidandme.com/2011/11/news/android-market-website-now-supporting-unofficial-devices/

Seems that even though there has not as yet been a cast iron way to get the proper market on our device without some problems, this looks like Google have give us some hope. I have tested it by just using the web browser on the G10 and directing to android market, from there you can install apps to the device. When you click to install it asks which device you want to install to. I have an Android phone as well, and the Arnova 10g2 is listed twice due to having installed the Custom firmware back in November and the newer way to install the market as discussed on the forum.

I dont know exactly what happens when you do this when you have never had the Android market installed on this tablet by the methods mentioned above but reading the link it should work.

I uninstalled the market as well from my tablet to test this and it worked. When I loaded the market back on it also worked but when you click to install an app from the website you are also asked if you want to install it through the website or the Market installed on the tablet.

Although the Website Android market is a bit slower it does work[Image Can Not Be Found]

I cant get this to work.  I go to the web site, login and all that, select an app, click install and all I get is "You are now dlownloading".  It never downloads and the app never gets installed.

When I downloaded an app it did it silently in the background and did install but didnt get notified. I pulled down the notification panel at the top and saw it was downloading.

I was logged in on the website I presume you was logged into your google account on the market website?

Yea my problem is I never get a notification showing it is downloading 🙁

Yes I was logged in as you have to login to proceed with download and install.  No go for me.

That's OK though I am prefering to use the Market right now.
