How to download a non recognize app on android market ?

Hi,

I have a arnova 10 g 2 and i want to download viera remote on my tablet.

I have installe the custom firmware and arctools to have acces to the android maket.

I find the viera reote application but android market does not let me install it he tells me that this app is not recognized on my phone (tablet) app needs android 2.1 or later to run and i have 2.3.

How can i do to download this app ?

Search google for the app you want with .apk at the end of the app that you want.
Then install it by going into file manager and clicking the app to install

I have made a search on google for the apk file but all are sending me to the android market where i cant download the app.

The app is "viera remote" for android.

Is it not possible that someone download this app and send me the apk ?

Hi there,

This is what I do its a bit long winded but works. If you have another suitable Android device. Download the required app, back it up with appmanager, appmonster or other similar app then either transfer it via USB to a PC then from PC to your tablet. Or back it up to the other devices SD card then temporarily put that SD card into your tablet and install the apk file that way.

Hi Chud,

Problems is that i only have my arnova 10 g2 running under android .

So impossible for me to download this app with another device!

try searching for it on file host sites such as 4shared there is thousands of apps

Had a similar issue trying to download the UK version of the BBC news, strangely it said it was compatible with the previous firmware on my 10 G2, anyway, eventually after sifting through I don't know how many versions of the international apk I finally found the UK specific one.
