I am a complete novice when it comes to "in-depth" tech stuff... I am sooooo hoping someone can hand-hold me by giving me step by step instructions on how to get the Android Market on my tablet. (Based on some of the posts I've read, I don't really know where to start)
Right now all I have is something called AppsLib, which doesn't offer any suitable "Antivirus Protection" apps and I'd like to be able to download something so I can feel somewhat secure when allowing my daughter to play games on PBS & Nick or when I'm on Facebook.
Please HELP!!!! Thanks a bunch :))
(I wouldn't say you need an anitivirus app on any mobile device(phone/tablet), but well... Anyways, you can try to see whether Getjar or 1mobile have something suitable for you. If yes, just download one of these markets, enjoy them and don't bother about getting Google Play installed on your 10b because it is a little bit more technical. 😉 If not, you will have to tell us first which tablet you have - the one with capacitive screen or the one with dual-touch resistive screen; so we can proceed further and provide you with some instructions if possible.)
I have the dual-touch resistive screen...
So, you don't think I need virus protection on the tablet? I've read that tablets are just as succeptible as computers & laptops in getting viruses... no? I've heard of so many people getting their accounts hacked on Facebook, I just didn't want to have those types of problems when using my tablet.
btw, every time I try to look at other sites, they have apps that only seem to apply toward phones, even though they say tablets!?!? (SMH) I'm more comfortable w/computers rather than these phone and tablet apps (lol)
