Sure, just install Arctools, press the download button to get the package. You'll have a zipfile in your storage area (/mnt/storage on most devices). These files should go to /system

The packages were made from GoogleApps archive from Cyanogenmod firmwares (see at the bottom of the page here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Latest_Version) with some extra changes, some files being removed or updated.

thank you for the answer,
strange, i used the gapp of CyanogenMod 7 from this link http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wi.....st_Version but the market crashed, after that, i take a photo of the file that arctools install (as you surely know, arctool print the path of the files when install them) and add them to the rom and so i the market go right, but i don't have the syncronize submenu in the setting menu, so Gmail can't auto syncronize.

could you tell me the right basic files to use? (as framework, permission..ecc).
ah sure i forgot to wrote it, i have a arnova 10 g2 🙂

Well, for your tests, you can just use the zipfile package that is downloaded by arctools. Unzip the package in /system, keeping the directory structure. Doing a chmod 777 on all files is a usual recommandation but I am not sure it makes a difference.

If you are using the firmware with r/w access to /system and already had an existing Market installed, make sure you uninstall it and reboot the device before testing a new Gapps package.

ok but i know that chmod 777 is a linux command to allow r/w but i use windows and this simple kitchen RK29xxImageTools_v2.1 and as base i use the custom rom dowloaded from this forum.
so at the next tests i'll use the arctools package that i found 🙂

have you other advice to optimize the rom? as edit boot.img or change the kernel?[off topic]
if not, i google it, i hope to not brick my tablet during my test 🙂

[end off topic]

thank you

if i do any good progress i'll post it.

It's probably best to focus on working with the system image to get the best apps combination and fix the few problems we have with current custom firmwares. Editing boot image will help to install permanent root on the device, but it's yet a not very well documented process.

The kernel won't be easy to modify unless we have a RK2918 source that is compatible with our devices.
