Sorry about these problems with the ArcTools package, I really did my best to provide smooth operation, but it doesn't seem to be too good at the moment. My main problem is that I don't have a Cube U30GT2 tablet to test everything, I'll try to get access to one or to a similar model.

Cheeers.

Applied ArcTools running, starts to download, then proceeds to write with the appropriate permission and installed.
Completed REQUESTS action RESET the tablet.
I note that the file "phone.apk" continues on System / APP. My question is a correct procedure?
Apparently works well and increases the battery life
Thanks to all

Suppose that is already loaded and move directly to run Setup .... may solve your problem Otherwise use the app program system / mont and run so you can write the new path

The script didn't work for me even after a view reboots. I downloaded "Root Browser" and moved the phone.apk from system/app to system/appbackup manually. I found out in GSam Battery Monitor that telephonyprovider.apk used up 53%, just like over 70% in the screenshot of Sethi above. If you tap on it, it tells you it is increasing signal strength to 100% all the time, because it can not find a cellular network (duh!).  I moved this apk to appbackup as well, now I gained a few hours of battery life time in the calculation of GSam Battery Monitor.

Maybe this helps some other people as well, especially Sethi, as I can see he got the same problem with telephonyprovider.apk

I am not sure though, if you need the apks when you want to connect to gsm via a USB modem over the OTG cable. That is why I kept the apks in appbackup.

My battery is running around 7 hours with screen turned on.. so its ok? or it should be better without that telephonyprovider.apk ??

I can't tell you if you will gain "real" hours if you move the telephonyprovider.apk. But at least your GSam Battery Monitor says you will.

Maybe that number is fake, and the app can't drain batterypower as there is no build in gsm modem, but maybe it still uses cpu time thus reducing battery time.

I think 7 hours+ is fine. I get just under 8 hours with a youtube video running continuously.

No, that's the microphone, U30GT2 hasn't a reset hole nor button.

I'd like to share my experience with Cube U30GT2, using Kasty's ROM Android 4.4.2. My battery went bad after the first year of usage, so I replaced it with an "LG 7.4V 12000mAh" from Aliexpress (of course real capacity is 3x lower, but that is clear). My battery life was still worse than one expects from a new battery. Cell standby showed significant consumption, which was odd, and also when left with the screen off the battery drained within a day, even flight mode didn't help. The "mobile network signal" bar in the battery screen was red.

My solution: I went to "Device" on ES Explorer and started browsing all internal folders for junk files. I moved the apk's which I thought were useless to a different folder (as a backup), here is a list of the files. Note, some of them are connected to the mobile network, some were just junk:
FiveVideoPlayer.apk, FusedLocation.apk, Mms.apk, NetworkLocation.apk, RkExplorer.apk, Stk.apk, TelephonyProvider.apk, TeleService.apk, VideoEditor.apk. I didn't find phone.apk on my tablet though, I may have deleted it myself earlier or it wasn't on the ROM, I'm not sure.

The result: Mobile network signal bar turned yellow and the battery life is surprisingly awesome. Battery drain is about 1% an hour. The tablet now has run for 60hours (2 and a half days), half of the time with wifi. The screen has been on for 1h and 14 min and I still have 15% of battery left. Sofar I haven't noticed any errors.

My suggestion: Check if your "Mobile network signal" bar is yellow. If not, some of the telephony apk's is draining battery.
