Well, i tried to dump the firmware when i did the review, admin did not had a look on it yet, but root should be achieved if we get our hands on a firmware dump done using linux.

Here is a test rooted firmware for the ARCHOS 80 Titanium based on globula’s work.

Download: kasty-titanium80-41-test1.zip

Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool, use Restore button.

Please note it hasn’t yet been tested on an ARCHOS 80 Titanium and comes with no warranty it will work on your device, it may even brick it. Feedback is welcome.

Or you can find the driver on windows 80 for the titanium is recognized Rktools?? I’m on windows 8

You need to use Rockchip Batch Tool to flash the firmware.

You need to unpack the rar archive, then use rockchip flasher.

I cannot get driver for Windows 7 64   i tried on (32 bit XP professional and Windows 7)  cant get this tablet to use ADB      when i use Rockchip and tablet in recovery/fastboot  rockchip program cant detect/see the tablet any ideas thank you

when i tried to use adb i did the fallowings

-enabled usb debugging
-used superoneclick to install the adb drivers

-adb reboot bootloader
-the tablet then rebooted in flashing mode
-installed the drivers from the rockchip tool
-checked if the tablet is seen in the rockchip tool (green square, which means that is ready to flash)
– i used Windows 7 32
