This command create in your internal storage a .img file. It can be take 1-3 minutes by command. Start by mtd0, mtd1, ... and when mtdX have more than 1 go don't do ... mtd7, mtd9, mtd10
Edit :
I found this :
- misc (mtd) mtdblock1
- kernel (mtd) mtdblock2
- boot (mtd) mtdblock3
- recovery (mtd) mtdblock4
- system (ext4) mtdblock5

Do you have access to adb on yours ?
If yes, you can dump also yours, and I can have a look on what is wrong in the system.img
Also dump the backup

Yes, factory reset erase the data block and when you dump this block with "dd" command, you dump a empty block.
Android have some blocks :
boot -> (read only without root) it have the linux kernel
recovery -> (read only) it have the recovery menu
system -> (read only without root) it have the android system
data -> (no read without root) it have apps and personal data
sdcard -> (read/write) it's the internal storage

Yes, if you want, I can do it via Team Viewer, it should be finished in 10-15 minutes, and then all the files need be uploaded somewhere, around 400 Mb.

i prefer doing it after the factory reset. and i think doing it myself is the simplest way. should i dump only these files above or the whole thing?

Hi
i got the files:
mtd0.img =4 Mo
mtd1.img =8 Mo
mtd2.img =16 Mo
mtd3.img =16 Mo
mtd4.img =512 Mo
mtd5.img =116 Mo
mtd6.img =4 Mo
mtd7.img =512 Mo
the mtd8.img size was around 4 Go so i stoped there.
The following users say thank you to flow2013 for this useful post:
hmsintrepideActually, including the dump for mtd2 and mtd3 would be interesting as well.
