Lately, Archos is busy with releasing minor firmware updates for the Oxygen range of smartphones. They can be downloaded via OTA notifications or manually. You are welcome to post any noticable differences(nope, still the same Android there).

Well, ARCHOS said a Kitkat firmware release for their Helium smartphones would be published during summer.
It's already a few days late and still no word on the update 
I have no idea about KitKat update on the Oxygen devices, which model do you have ?

The 50c Oxygen should be updated to Kit-Kat first, but do not expect the update in September. 
Helium updates are still far away as far as I get it.

I have Oxygen 50c, will continue to keep my fingers crossed..... It is really weird to run 4.2 in Sept 2014...
Would appreciate ping if you hear anything in the future about kitkat for Oxygen
