Part of our review is also the camera.

We do not expect miracles, just a camera that will act decent.

The videos/photos where shoot using the highest settings available on the phone.

For the people to assess better the capability of the camera we used also two other phones for comparison, HTC One S and HTC One X

As test conditions he had the fallowing scenarios:

1) Full Night with Flash On (Photos made around 23:00)

2) Dim daylight (Photos made around 22:00)

Depending on how much time you let the sensor to focus the photos can become overexposed.

3)Daylight (Photos made around 18:00)

From what it can be seen the image looks quite pixelated, but I do have the faith that it can be improved thru some sort of firmware modification.

To conclude, the Archos 50 Platinum camera is not one of the best, it does the job fairly decent and we hope that some improvements will appear either from the manufacturer or thru some Custom Roms
