Hello. I have followed some indications in order to change the original firmware of my Archos 97 Platinum tablet. I have used a Onda v972 modified firmware and Phoenix suite. The tablet is, indeed, running now much better than before. The problem is that the camera is not working anymore. Anyone have an idea of what is causing this, or how to fix this issue?

I have installed the 4.4.2 KitKat ROM on my Archos 97 Platinum and the camera works well but with a little problem: the imagen is mirroring.

The ROM works fine, but i have problems with some aplications, for example the game Star Wars Commander.

Some month ago I have another ROM that didn't work OK with the camera, but I have try out another Onda V972 v1 ROMs and the camera worked perfect.

I hope you can solve your problem.

i have the same problem with main (back) camera, everything else is workin fine

Has anyone tried some ROM that works fine with camera and the tipical APPs?

I have try some roms with 4.4.2 but with problems.

Wich android version would you use with this tablet?

I have found the same problem, in that only the front camera works. And this is only once I downloaded another camera app (open camera). However, before installing the app, I looked through the apps and could not find the camera app there!!!! I may look at side loading the onda camera app via phoenix suit, to see if this solves the problem

Have tried to sideload camera apk, but no joy. If this helps, I found that the camera icon is linked to the gallery app, and there is no camera apk on the 4.2.2. rom at all!!!
