To put the tablet in flash mode and upgrade
For flash mode : Tablet off, you Hold the Home button, Connect the Micro USB Cable and short press the power button for 5-10 times, (many tries for me before it's ok)
you have this (VID_1f3a_PID_efe8) in peripherals manager but phoenix suite display no device attached. no matter.
Hope will help
I have test but I have nothing.
I need press long time power button if I would like boot. I have test with 2 PC (Windows XP and 10) same result.
With my attachment, do you confirm if I have Archos 80 platinium ...
Don't see any attachment ?? You have to press power 5-10 times every 1/2 seconds and when it's ok the screen stay black (don't boot the tablet) but you have (VID_1f3a_PID_efe8) in usb controller in peripherals manager (verify this) : if ok you can flash.
you need to install phoenix suite with the driver before.
