ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !
It's hard to say if either one will work. The 80 Platinum is supposed to be using a platform similar to the Onda V812, but it's possible that Archos has done some hardware modifications (sensors, camera, battery) and the firmware may not be compatible. It shouldn't hurt to try both, just make sure you have the default firmware for your Archos in case none of Onda ones work.
Cheers.

Just to clarify, I said you can give it a try if you have the stock firmware available for your Archos, just in case you need to roll back.
As usual, you are trying at your own risk.

Hello Guys
I come back to ask few more questions :
Tablet off, i Hold the Home button, Connect the Micro USB Cable and short press the power button for 5-10 times, i have this (VID_1f3a_PID_efe8) in peripherals manager but phoenix suite display no device attached.
When tablet is on with degub phoenix suite can see it.
I did'nt try to click upgrade in any case. i'm a little afraid to brick the tablet.
Have you an advice ?
Thanks very much

Hello ShafikTiesto
Step 1. you have to download the modified firmware (kasty-onda_v812_v1-442-v44-rooted0.zip) as mentionned by gareem on this page.
It only work with Archos 80 Platinum (not 80b)
Step 2. Download, install and launch PhoenixSuit (in Administrator mode just in case)
Below a link to download phoenixsuite with a tutorial.
Step 3. Load the firmware in PhoenixSuit
Step 4. Put the tablet in flash mode and upgrade
For flash mode : Tablet off, you Hold the Home button, Connect the Micro USB Cable and short press the power button for 5-10 times,
you have this (VID_1f3a_PID_efe8) in peripherals manager but phoenix suite display no device attached. no matter.
Click Yes button to allow Format mode.
that take a little time but you will not recognize your tablet after that.
Have a good day
