Greetings,
Â
After purchasing a Arnova 10b G3 to use as an in-car video player to entertain my 2 year old, i'm very tempted to swap my Dell Duo netbook for a ARCHOS 101 G9 Turbo ICS.
Â
I'm wondering if its possible to add a hdd to the 8 or 16Gb models or swap the drive in the 250GB hdd model for a SSD, which at the price i'm guessing its not supplied with?

Thanks for reading

Hello Jamie,
The 250 Gb model is slightly different to the Flash models, the tablet case is a bit larger, it has a separate power supply (vs micro USB only on the G9 Flash) so the hardware swap may not be easy.
About the disk itselft, G9 HDD models have a Seagate Momentus disk which isn't an SSD model. I don't know if a DIY swap with an SSD model is doable.
There is also the option of connecting an external hard disk thru the USB port, but it has been reported that not all models are supported, it's apparently related to disks power consumption.
Cheers.
