I have a question, before i buy some games (like NFS Hot pursuit and others...) I would like to try them for a couple of days, and i have downloaded the game files .apk and data.
This is a stupid question for you guys, but i cannot run the game on my gamepad, how do I do it?
Do i need to root the device (gamepad)?
Do i need a special file manager on the gamepad?
In the windows file manager i cannot see the folders were the game data should be copied, should i copy them using the file manager inside the gamepad?
Do i need a external SD card to put the DATA folder since some help files that I have read say that the data should be copied to sdcard/Android/obb/, or sdcard/Android/DATA/ ?
This is probably a stupid question, but i do not know what more to do, and i am a beginner in the android universe, so some help here would be very much appreciated...
mI can answer your questions:
_You no need root, but i recomended you flash rom Sigmax-JFG to smooth, long life battery, also rooted: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/archos-gamepad/custom-rom-sigmax-jfg-just-for-gaming-flash-with-cwm-0-full-wipe/
_With file manager, you can use ES File, it's free (ES File can access root): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lc3Ryb25ncy5hbmRyb2lkLnBvcCJd
In Archos Gamepad, the store is
_/sdcard/: it is internal store
_/mnt/external_sd/: it is external store (so, it means Memody FLash Card SD)
If you want move data from internal to external, you can use DirectoryBind: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262

My English not good. So, If I'm wrong, please correct me. Thank you very much!
Im thinking of doing the firmware update but with caution.... and if i do it, it will be the rooted one, the controls some times dont respond very well but the new firmware resolves that.
I also need to buy a sd card, but since there is a problem with class 10 sd cards im waiting for a resolution.
the 4000mh battery mod is great, the only thing is that i dont know were to buy a battery that fits the gamepad...
thanks for the answer to my question!
