This is my first tutorial so don't judge me to hard.
I take no responsibility for any loss of data or similar
I've found a way ti completely swap the storage. Here is what i did.
You need:
Script Manager App
This script Download ext2int.zip
and a File Explorer with root acces (I use Root Explorer)
- Extract the zip and place the file "ext2int.sh" in the Data folder in the root of your Tablet and change the permissions like this. Don't place it on the SD Card. It won't work from SD Card.
2.
Install script Manager on your Tablet and start it.
Browse to the script at /Data/ext2int.sh click it and choose "open as script/executable".
Then check Su and Boot as shown in the picture and click safe.
3.
Copy everything from your internal SD to your external SD and when it's done delete everything on your internal SD.
Now reboot your Tablet and your storage should have been swaped.
The only bad thing at this method is that the Storage in Settings shows false values but when you look at Apps you see that the apps are in the internal storage but the additional data is on your external SD.

is it working on samsung galaxy beam gt-i8530?
Maybe! But you have to edit the script.Â
There is a line that says ".../vold/179:1". This number must be edited.
Browse to the root of your Phone/Tablet and open the folder "/dev/block/vold"
There must be a few files. Maybe 179:1 and 179:49 or something similar.
Edit the script and change the number to a number of a file in this folder and try it.
I'm not a pro but you learn much from Trial&Error.
But if you try it don't set the script to run at boot. Run it with Script Manager and look what changed. If it is good and it worked now you can set it at boot.

Hi Mick.
Thanks for this tutorial, is working well on my Archos Gamepad with an 32 GB
Class 10 SD from Samsung.
But I have a little annoying problem. While the tablet is in suspend mode, the SD Card gets extracted. The only way to recover the access is a reset. Sometimes, the tablet hangs up while is suspended, I think it happens for the same issues with the SD.
Any idea why this is happening? Maybe is for the script, or maybe is a hardware problem with my device.
Any help is welcome.

hi!
i think i had issues like you...
when i got my gamepad i flashed rooted rom from here and did the guidance from this thread to get my data on sdcard.
i often had the problem, that the tablet hangs up (freezes) after turning it on from suspend. this happend after every 3rd time i turned the tablet on. also had the problem, that the screen didn't show anything after turning the tablet on, after suspend. I had to push the power button for some seconds, than the tablet turned off - annoying thing was, that it didn't turn on immediately with the power button - it was a game of luck to get it turned on again.
then i did a reset to factory and flashed original firmware from archos homepage without connecting a sd-card. after one week of testing, i had the same problems again!! so the issue didn't come from the prerooted firmware or the sdcard instructions here on this thread.
now i returned my gamepad and hope i'll get a fully functionally pad back soon - really like the gamepad!
regards,
heli
