1- Update your archos GamePad 2 to latest oficial firmware.
2- Turn on Archos GamePad2 and go to SETTINGS -> TABLET INFORMATION , then press 7 times in a row over the "BUILD/COMPILATION NUMBER" (mine says "v1.0.28.JDQ39.20140213.175138" ). After that a new menu should appear called "development options/settings" . Inside that ENABLE : usb debugging.
3- Install kingo Android root from here http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root.htm
4- Connect Archos to pc, open exe and I will probably say it is not connected due to driver problems (either directly if you can, great, give root it and wait 1 minute) if you cant connect Archos to PC go to point "5"
5- To solve the driver problem, we seek a universal (there are two, depending on whether your system is 32 or 64 bit) so that we will continue this tutorial by youtube -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lUtgjkTe8Y in the same video there is a link to their website where download them ... Once done, you will have already prepared to open kingo drivers and root Android os recognizes the Archos.
