Be careful who you are buying from.

I've had bad experience with Tablet Sprint.  My order was placed on May 27 for Pipo M6, a Bluetoth keyboard/case and ~$80 of other components.  I've got the tablet about a month later, they substituted kayboard/case with twice cheaper microUSb one, have not delivered the other parts

and stopped answering my E-mails.  I am sure it is a fraud.  Dealing with BBB, will contact law enforcment.

I am a representative with TabletSprint and we periodically review posts related to our website and the previous posting is from an individual whom attempted credit card fraud with a purchase and is now making up fictional service complaints and posting negative reviews of the TabletSprint website.  The date of posting and description match the same as others recently posted.

TabletSprint is focused on customer service and has a 92% fulfillment rate of orders within a 24 hour period and also responds to Customer Service e-mails by the following business day, and we have more than 10,000 satisfied customers this year.  Based on the volume of sales, our business has had a few dissatisfied customers, as on occasion, product stock becomes delayed or unavailable, but overall, the great majority of our customers are satisfied with the product and customer support provided.

My ordeal with TabletSprint started in May and still not over.

They delivered the tablet a month later, substituted a Bluetoth case/keyboard with microUSB case keyboard (~$23 difference), stopped answering my E-mails.  After BBB wrote a letter to them, they

delivered screen protective films and Ethernet adapter.  However, they did not deliver the

Miracast adapter (~$48), therefore, they owe me ~$71.  They also wrote me a letter that they have sent me the second microUSB case/keyboard by mistake and I have to return it.  I have not received the second keyboard, it is some screw-up in their files.  And then they disappeared again.  It is October now.  What do you think - should I charge an interest on "involuntary loan"? They widthdrew the whole purchase sum in June.  Since the loan was forced, I can establish my interest rate, I am thinking 20%/day.
I was pretty busy lately, but will continue to pursue my interests.

I bought tablet PIPO M6 PRO 32GB. Delivery was ok, although the vat tax in Netherlands was not counted in so I had to pay that extra (70 EUR) when it went through customs in Netherlands. I ordered a case but it had opening for camera on the wrong side.
I cannot verify specification of the Tablet but it barely seems to have the advertised properties. The display quality is good but the system is sluggish (slower than my smartphone), waiting for opening apps too often for too long unless they are already in memory. Still trying to figure out batery life but so far it isn't very good.
Orientation of Camera in Skype is mixed - not rotating properly, always upside down unless rotation is turned on and in horizontal position. Camera quality is poor. Once the device got stuck while opening the Google Play market.Completely unresponsive and no combination of any keys helped. I had to wait until batery died out and then turned it on.
I requested a return or compensation for bad quality device but so far no response. (since Oct 2013)

I do not recommend buying from them. Rather pay a bit extra somewhere else.

Anyone  who challenge mu trustworthiness can see my profile on Faceboook or LinkedIn and contact me (too see that I am the person: Pavel Urubcik). I can also provide proofs of low quality of the tablet delivered and proof of communication among me and TabletSprint.

Pavel Urubcik

I purchased two Pipo M6 tablets through TabletSprint four months ago and the Pipo M6 does offer good performance and quality.  Sound's like this guy has an Ax to grind maybe having to pay extra taxes, I guess that's the pleasure of living in high tax Europe.  Battery life from my experience is 6-7 hours, which honestly is pretty average for most android tablets, unless it's an iPad which averages 8 hours.

I know TabletSprint sends out manuals and maybe if guy from the above comment would read one he'd know all you have to do is stick a pin into the Reset hole on the back of the tablet to restart it (not leaving it for the battery to die out).

The Camera quality is as good as my new 2013 Nexus 7 - don't expect a 12 megapixel camera like on a phone and maybe you won't be disappointed, but all tablets are like this.

I ordered a Pipo M7 Pro through TabletSprint last month and for some reason the camera came up with a green screen the first day I got it and TabletSprint shipped another one to me within 4 days and prepaid for the return of the other one.

So what it's worth, in my experience, TabletSprint is pretty reliable.

Marcus,

you try to invalidate my points on my little bragging about VAT tax. That isn't fair. We are trying to share experience here for customers benefit and so do you I suppose?

I agree that missing the restart button is my fault. In my defense. I put the compact case on. It is glued to the tablet now so I would have to tear it out to see the reset hole. Perhaps side reset hole would do better? Speaking of the case, see the following picture (link). You will notice the hole for camera is on the wrong side.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/fab0jj5enhpbnxz/IMG_20131012_134454.jpg

As for the baterry life I admit I cannot tell exactly as I did not care enough to test it. That was just rough estimation.

I still do stand for the other points however. It is freezing once in a while and the performance is bad (especially in Play market). Camera rotation in Skype is misbehaving (only work properly when rotation is on and in landscape position). Further sometimes I call to a person and the call is cancelled when it is about to connect and it is also related to camera because I can hear it turning on physically (although calling without video won't change that matter).

Recently I managed to install custom firmware and it seems to improved. I used Kasty ROM. For those interrested:

http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/pipo-max-m6/

The Skype camera problems persist. Play market and generally other apps seems starting a bit faster and overall performance seems somehow better. Ther is something with GPS }never made it work], but I need to look into that before drawing conclusions.

The main point is that TabletSprint did not bother to reply my request for wrong compact case, camera misbehavior and other points. They ignore me as well as other customers who reported them.

I am a representative with TabletSprint and in response to pavelu

I have confirmed that the incorrect case was originally sent by mistake to the customer and we had since shipped the correct case to the customer and have a documented confirmation of delivery to the same address the original product shipped to, yet the customer still claims to have not received the new product and continues to post negative comments online out of spite for whatever reasons.

TabletSprint continuously evaluates and focuses to improve the customer service experience, and the great majority of customers have been very satisfied with their products and after sales support.

There's always going to be a small percentage of customers that regardless of attempts made toward customer satisfaction, will not be satisfied and/or will belittle, exaggerate or outright make false claims regarding their purchase or customer experience.  This is rare, but it does happen.

TabletSprint continuously works towards offering the latest in technology with up-to-date features and on average, introduces completely new product lines every three months.

We have had instances where a few customers will make up reasons to find a defect with a product in order to attempt to get a new upgraded product.  Others will write scathing reviews to use as leverage for a refund or exchange.

Having worked within TabletSprint Customer Service group for an extended period of time, thousands of products shipped and most customers have been satisfied with their purchases.

As with any operation, there have been a few instances where something does not go smoothly, but these are also rare.  One customer had a product that was sent for repair and due to a holiday period, there was an additional two week delay and during return shipment, a slight crack to the glass panel occurred; and we expedited the product back to the manufacturer, which further delayed return of the product to the customer by an additional 3-4 week timeframe.  As compensation, we offered the customer a gift card.

Products that we do carry have demonstrated to have warranty repair rates well below the average and as with any consumer electronic product, there is always going to be a small percentage that will experience a problem.

We typically don't post to public forums, whether it be the many positive responses we receive from customers on a continuous basis or the occasional negative ones, but we have a solid structure set up to resolve issues in an expedited manner.

Most customer have been very satisfied with the products we carry, along with the additional benefits no other consumer electronic reseller offers, including bonus apps, a promotion with free monthly 4G Internet service, an extensive Android users guide with an excellent overview of how to make the most of Apps and services, along with other added value perks.

Getting paid for lying makes you a professional liar, "Samantha".  Now I have an impression that your company is just a couple of guys running a "business" form a prison cell, because your lies are so disgusting.

Frankly, I do not believe that they are in prison (yet?), but the level of "customer service" really makes me think so.

Here is my original warning:

"My ordeal with TabletSprint started in May and still not over.

And then they disappeared again."

I have all the copies of E-mails and the company web page with my "conversations" with them.

"Samantha" states that "it is a credit card fraud".  Yes, it is fraud, but from their side.  THEY

WITHDREW THE WHOLE SUM FROM MY CREDIT CARD (Grand Total:    $425.60) before anything was delivered to me.  The tablet and USB keyboard/case vere delivered with delay.  They substituted the Bluetooth keyboard/case for the USB one - much cheaper, and they even did not notify me about that.

Later, the screw up continued - they stated that they shipped me two USB keyboard/cases and I have to return one.  They promised to send me a check for the difference.  It is January now (strted in May), I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CHECK (~71)!  If "Samantha" really able to check anything, it is easy to do - just read through E-mails, check if the reimbursement had been sent.

Very disgusting.

I am a representative with TabletSprint and in response to the original Post of this blog  - dgaid

The issue is this individual, whomever the person is,  attempted to purchase several items through TabletSprint with a fraudulent credit card.

TabletSprint shipped the tablet (at a loss to our company) but did not ship other items scheduled for shipment the next day.  Our merchant service group alerted us as to the charge as fraudulent.

Since this incident, dgaid - whomever the person is, has blogged WARNING notices on various websites, fabricating stories of bad customer service experiences with TabletSprint

The issue here is as simple as that.

TabletSprint has an infrastructure and support staff to serve customers, and the great majority of our customers have had a positive purchase experience and are satisfied with their products.

Sincerely,

Samantha W.

In response to the TabletSprint representative (Samatha) link.

When I started reading this forum I was a bit suspicious about dgaid's story but now I believe it and I charge Samatha with lying too. She is either no representative at all (but I trust she is at least in such regards as to spread lies even if TabletSprint would deny it) or she is very incompetent and misinformed or lying.

The reason for it is that I have received NO FEEDBACK about my complain in their webshop and nothing was sent to my home by mail.

Here is link to my pending request" there is no feedback!

Hello, Pavel:

I do not know why you were suspicious about my post - I just wanted to warn people about my experience with this "company".  See, I just wanted to make a gift for my daughter's birthday.  I have better things to do than arguing with some shameful person.  However, it is so outrageous lie that I think I have to continue this stupid thing.

If you have bought something from the "company", you would know, that they charge your credit card before they send anything to you.  This is common practice. However, there are several things about the "company":  they did not have the items I ordered in stock and they did not clearly stated that.  They delivered the tablet and USB keybouard with a month delay - too late for the birthday present.  They stopped answering my E-mails about the other items they HAVE CHARGED me - the Miracast TV adapter, screen protective films, Ethernet adapter.

I wrote about it to BBB.  After that they shipped the screen protectors and the Ethernet adapter and wrote me that the Miracast adapter is not available, the manufacturer has a problem.  But they promised me to send a check after I return the second USB keyboard.  I understood it that they sent me the second keyboard by mistake and started to wait for it.  After some time I E-mailed them again, asking if they sent it to correct address or if they have a postal tracking number.  They answered that thy shipped the second keyboard in the original shipment.

Look, I do not need the second USB keyboard and I did not ask for USB keyboard.  I would not keep the only USB keyboard they shipped to me, but I was already tooo tired of dealing with them, I asked for the check.  They promised to send the check and then disappeared again.

It is absolutely clear that they do not have a good order/shipment tracking system and thay make multiple mistakes.  What is most disgusting, instead of recognizing their mistakeand trying to correct it, they engage in stupid blaming game, calling me a criminal.

"Samantha":  I've had enough, now I am really angry.  I will file complaint to your district attorney office.  I hope you loose the business license.

By the way, I like Pipo M6 tablet.  I did not have any problems with it.  The only bad thing about it is the internal speakers, but I use an external sound system anyway.

I only wanted to buy some items from the Internet store ...

Now I will not do such a stupid thing again.

Hello, Pavel:

I do not use the Pipo original software.  There are custom rooted system images that are easy to install - I have done it 4 or 5 times with newer image.  If you want to reboot the "frosen" tablet, there is a small hole on the back surface, use a paper clip.

I am so pissed off by their lies that I overlooked a simple proof on the "company representative Samantha" post:

here is the citation from her latest post :

Start of citation:

End of citation.

Here is the copy of E-mail from TabletSprint, note the date.  They only responded to me and shipped some items after my complaint to BBB.

Dear (me):

We are providing an update to your purchase order.

Please note that our e-commerce administration system was updated recently and some emails have not properly been forwarding to our customer service department - please email us directly at info@tabletsprint.com for all future correspondence.

Your screen protectors for the new Pipo M6 model tablet have shipped.  Please note that there was a delay in receiving the proper protectors from the manufacturer as the camera slot position has changed compared to other Pipo tablet models and therefore required a new fit for the screen protector and is the reason for the delay.

We also note that 2 pieces of the regular Case-Keyboard were shipped to you by mistake.

Please use the attached prepaid envelope to return one or more of these items to us.   The release of the Bluetooth version of this product was delayed by the case-manufacturer and we will  refund the total price of the item to you, minus the price if you decide to keep one of the standard cases that don't feature bluetooth.

We have also already refunded you for the $47.95  Miracast adapter you ordered, as the electronics manufacturer has indefinitely delayed release of this particular product.

However, a new product has become available recently that also offers Wireless Display and the ability to stream tablet content wirelessly to a TV -  the new Google CHROMECAST  device:

Which retails for only $35 and is currently out of stock due to overwhelming deman, but may be available at your local Best Buy and at other major electronic retailers, depending on stock availablity.  Google is expected to provide new stock within the coming weeks for this new item.

To return one or more of the case-keyboard shipped to you - please print out the stamp and tape to the front of a USPS Priority mail Soft Pouch Envelope (please see Photo Attached) that you may obtain from any self service section of your local U.S. Post Office  and return the product in the mail - there is no need to wait in line at the post office, simply drop the package envelope into any post office collection box or bin.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,

Jake Robertson

"""""

They have not refunded me for Miracast adapter, it is a lie.

This is August 7 mail.  I received the tablet and USB/keyboard case on June 19.

I have the copies of all E-mails and their web page with all conversations and I can post it here,

but I do not think it is necessary.  This simple lie (like they shipped the tablet for their loss and stopped the other items the next day) - they could not possibly have the Miracast adapter at that time.

They did ship me the envelope to return "the second USB keyboard". Is I stated before, I never received the second one, and I did not even need the first keyboard, because it takes the only USB port from the tablet, I wanted to use the USB port for something else.  However, I did not want to deal with them anymore, just asked for the check.

By the way, does anybody know how to use a "fraudulent credit card" and supply a real shipment address?  Is possible at all?

DG

I am a representative with TabletSprint and in additional  response to new comment from dgaid

After reviewing the above email as posted from dgaid , we searched our email records and determined many of the paragraphs, but not all, are from an email sent to another customer in our records database.

After reviewing the above noted email under the dgaid  comment, we have concluded it is another fabrication on the part of dgaid , whomever this individual is.

Which now leads us to believe this other order in relation to the fabricated email above, may have also been a fraudulent order, because the ship to and billing names and addresses are not the same. We now have opened another case with our merchant services provider to determine if this other charge is also fraudulent, as  dgaid has now inadvertently associated himself/herself with an entirely different order, aside from the original fraudulent order, dgaid had placed several months ago.

Additionally, we had an employee by the name of Jake Robertson, but the person has not been employed by TabletSprint since June, 2013,  so there is no way the person could have dated a letter from August 7th, 2013.

TabletSprint ships hundreds of orders each month, so whomever dgaid is, possibly he/she has attempted to  place numerous orders with Stolen credit cards.

We honestly are perplexed of this individual's  reasons and motivations for fabricating such gross and negative comments, in relation to the TabletSprint website, especially with such detail.  We have never experienced anything quite like it, in relation to fraudulent merchant orders, which do occur on occasion.

The first two paragraphs from the above noted email correspondence match an email sent to another customer, but the following two paragraphs, including the words "2 pieces of the regular Case-Keyboard were shipped to you by mistake." are a complete fabrication and do not match the email or any other email that was sent to this other customer or any other customer.

The final paragraphs in the original email to another customer specified details to return a completely different item to TabletSprint, and makes no reference to a case-keyboard, so these details are also completely fabricated from this pavelu individual, whomever he/she is.

Out of hundreds of orders each month, TabletSprint typically receives 2-3 fraudulent orders on a monthly basis, which fortunately are caught through our merchant services account system - which is handled through one of the largest and most reliable merchant service account providers in the U.S, and the information is proprietary and encrypted, meaning it is not directly accessible to merchants (including TabletSprint).

TabletSprint successfully sells hundreds of tablets each month and offers an excellent selection of products with added value; and has a support staff and the resources to address and resolve customer issues that may arise.

It is absolutely unbelievable.  You, Tabletsprint Pinokio people, check the E-mails regarding

TabletSprint - Order #494.  I have the copies on my computer, so do not try to alter the records.

I also can get the money withdrawal copy from my credit card.

So:  what have you delivered,  when and how much money have you compensated.

Your lies pushed you too far and now you are embarrassed to accept your multiple screw-ups?

You new that I showed my wife's work address for delivery, because the mail there is delivered to a person hand to hand, no deliveries on weekend.  I did not want my long waited parcels to disappear from my front door while I am at work.

Now, answer the question:  if you have charged a customer for Bluetooth keyboard/case and sent

instead a twice cheaper USB keyboard/case without any notification, any manual, any document -

- is it a fraud?  If you used Internet and US postal service to commit this fraud - is it a federal crime?

Not informing a customer that you do not have anything on stock and just hope to get it after you have already charged their credit card - is it a honest business practice?

The TabletSprint is registered at a post box:

TabletSprint,   PO Box 2501,  Toluca Lake, CA  91610-0501.

I am wandering on how many "merchant departments, customer service groups, senior vice-presidents and directors, cargo airplanes" all fit in this box.  Another miracle of Chinese nanotechnology.  Take a look in this post box, may be  Jake Robertso is still there?

I am kicking myself since May of last year that I was so lazy and did not check the registration address - wanted to get this tablet fast.

If you were a little more honest, you would understand that "different E-mail pieces" are just the "Reply" option, that includes the E-mail being replied.

Here is another E-mail copy.  Just for you: it includes my previous E-mails, the replays from  Jake Robertso and so on. As you see, that last E-mail from mysterious Jake Robertso was received on August 11.

Sun 8/11/2013 8:23 PM:

Dear (me):

OK - if you only received 1 tablet case, this is fine.

Because there is no Bluetooth case available, do you want to keep the regular case with no Bluetooth ?

If you want to keep it, we will deduct the price difference and send you a refund.

If you only want to return the Case-Keyboard that you received , please let us know.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,

Jake Robertson

We also note that 2 pieces of the regular Case-Keyboard were shipped to you by mistake.
Please use the attached prepaid envelope to return one or more of these items to us. The release of the Bluetooth version of this product was delayed by the case-manufacturer and we will refund the total price of the item to you, minus the price if you decide to keep one of the standard cases that don't feature bluetooth.
We have also already refunded you for the $47.95 Miracast adapter you ordered, as the electronics manufacturer has indefinitely delayed release of this particular product.
However, a new product has become available recently that also offers Wireless Display and the ability to stream tablet content wirelessly to a TV - the new Google CHROMECAST device:
http://tabletsprint20.mybigcommerce.com/chromecast-wireless-tv-display

Dear (me):

We are a little confused.

We did not ship another case keyboard to you recently.

We simply communicated that two case-keyboard units shipped to you last month.

You will not be responsible for the item if it was never received by you.

Sincerely,

Since I have not received anything from you during last week,

I believe that you have not sent anything to me.

I've spent too much time on a simple purchase, but I will not let it go.

I do not like like this kind of "business", it has to be stopped.

I have warned you.  You will see the consequences.  Now, it is really offensive.
