I currently have a Arnova 7c G2 but am abit disappointed with it's overall performance. GPS is flakey at best and the 3G is ok. Just not overly happy with it (but I wasn't expecting much @ £149.00) Also the lack of RAM is annoying. Will ebay it after getting a new one (as I have the box etc).
I am looking at 3 alternatives.
The Arnova 7F G3 (and patching to work with Google Play) £99.00 from DABS.
The Scroll Extreme £179.98 from Ebuyer
The Yarvik GoTab 4GB (with Google Play) £159.94 from Ebuyer
I'd be interested in the Arnova, but cant get my hands on one to see thespeed and feel of it - anyone here give me a review?
The Arnova 7c G2 is a nice tablet, will lots of feature, but the lack of RAM and CPU power may be inadequate for today use.
From what I've found on Google, the Yarvik GoTab seems comparable to the Arnova 7 G3 (not 7f G3), I don't know about its price in the UK. The Arnova 7f G3 may offer slightly lower performance but is a decent tablet for the price and you'll have Google Play with a custom firmware.
The Scroll Extreme is quite a different product with a nicer IPS screen using 4/3 ratio which is more usable for web browsing or ebook reading.
