The majority of you probably have noticed that the applications from the developer ROVIO eg: Angry Birds –all the versions are NOT WORKING ANYMORE if they are downloaded/updated via Play Market.
Therefore, the only action that can be held now by the possessors of a Rockchip 2918 tablet should be: sending emails to Rovio expressing your problem with the non-working apps.
Still, if you want Angry Birds, try to find older versions, in places like AppsLib.

(just checked out on RK2918 – they are working)
Really struggling with the unpacking of the .sh file have tried opening it with cygwin but this does not 'unpack' anything.
Am I doing anything wrong or is there another way to
"unpack Angry Birds, replace file, pack, sign and install"
Bit new at this game – boy just wants angry birds working, not at the stage of buying an Apple yet though!

These should be the fixed versions and exelletor confirmed they work.

Download the Angry Birds apps from here

If you want to work with a specific Angry Birds app, you will need to back`up the up, use an apropriate tool to unpack the app, then use this file [[** please register to see this link **]] and replace the one from the app, then repack the app, sign it, and install.
