The fix is not easy, it involves installing the usb drivers and after that a series of adb commands to re-flash back the system partition.
The following users say thank you to globula_neagra for this useful post:
Mickem02Or you can reflash an full image, such as Elvish using LiveSuit. As the Elvish is a "compatible" image with the Arnova 7 G2, but it has some problems, such as non working accelerometer, you can then reflash an Arnova 7 G2 stock image from there using adb shell commands.
You should find most of the details in the Arnova 7G2 section of our forum.
Cheers.

Due to the large number of soft-unbricking/flashing requests we want to establish a new type of service.
It is about a remote service, where the staff from arctablet.com will remotely TRY to solve your device via a remote connection (VNC, TeamViewer).
We want to start this because the majority of the people:
- are not reading the guides for flashing,
-are not having the necessary knowledge/time/will to finish a flashing procedureSo therefore, we had this idea where we can help you under some CONDITIONS (which if we will have a positive response from the users will be implemented and decided, because we need to keep an eye on legislation and other legal stuff).
But, because we are talking about time, and as we know, time is money, we cannot do this for free and for the moment we discussed about 5 pounds, 6 euros, 8 dollars (for each flashed/unbricked device), the money will be sent as a donation and will help us to buy new devices, that means more support for the users. We are waiting for YOUR OPINION, so SHARE it with us and give us indications, thoughts, criticism about our project.
To have an idea of what we are proposing, have a look here http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arnova-7c-g2-android-firmware-development/need-help-to-flash-im-here-1/
As you can see I helped a couple of people, but because the amount of time allocated to each unbrick/flashing it was more than 1 hour sometimes, I decided to stop project.
Those devices that I have repaired where supposed to be sent back to Arnova for repairs, so I saved a lot of people money and time.
Sadly for all my work I have not received not even one donation, which was another reason to stop the project due to lack of motivation.CONDITIONS
I will do this in my free time.
I can not be held responsible for any broken devices during the flashing process.
I will do my best in recovering already broken devices, but this does not means that is a guarantee that your device will be repaired.Payment:
- 5 ÂŁ or equivalent of this amount in other currency, eg: 8 US dolars, 6 Euros.CHANGE OF CONDITIONS ! READ !!!
Why ?Well, I fixed some people tablets, and somehow they forgot that they need to donate the little sum of 5 Pounds.
How it will be from now on ?
-donation first, after which I will respond to the query
-if I don`t manage to fix/flash/repair/recover your tablet, the donation will be returned
-I also accept tablets sent by post for those ho are from UK, as long as they pay for the postage. Please do understand that a recovery/flashing process can take from 10 minutes up to 2-3 hours, in that time I am coming up with new approaches/ideas,ways to fix your tablet.
If you think that I should do this for free, then you should fix yourself the tablet.People that have forgotten to donate after I fixed their tablets.
m0dcm - time spent 2-3 hours. (flash successful)
joshuauk - time spent = around 2 hours (flash successfull)
There at least 2 others, but I don`t remember the names.
If your name is here, you know what to do.
Excellent Idea I have to say, especially for people like me who simply dont have the time or patience to fully do the firmware and driver and flashing jobs etc, or to learn it very much either although I am a fast learner, but thats with computers/pc's/dos/windows/pc bios overclocking etc, but not at all with any android device, for some reason my brain just goes into overload with setting up even a simple android phone letalone this new Tablet I have just got and its still sitting there because I cant even get it out of chinese language and into english british, lol.
So if someone can help me sooner rather than later then tell me what I need, I.E - hardware cables etc, software etc ( i know how to use teamviewer on my pc's, not a problem on pc), everything I need basically ready to speed the process up ?
I would be more than happy to pay/donate ÂŁ5 right now to have someone flash my brand new tablet (Cube U30GT2) for me with the best-latest-great-feedback-firmware that has all things like the latest drivers etc and the latest anything else required including things like some apps that stop bloatware and things like that, basically anything installed to make the machine run better or not installed that will slow the machine etc, and most of all, all the chinese took away and only leaving me normal things like the google browser and facebook and hotmail/outlook etc etc etc.
Yes I would be over the moon with this service anytime someone is ready, but thats the thing, how do I know when I have to have myself ready and infront of the pc and tablet ???
For instance, roundabout this afternoon sometime or tonight or what ? I have no Idea.
get back to me a.s.a.p someone, eh ?
p.s
i take it you take donation by paypal, correct ? if so thats perfect for me
Cube U30GT2
Android 4.2.2
Custom root firmware final 2.04 version

Brilliant idea!!! I've been lucky so far, with unbricking and/or flashing but only because of the fanastic guides and roms on this site!!! I think ÂŁ5 is more than reasonable as the alternative in some cases would be a very expensive paperweight
Keep up the excellent work you guys. This site is by FAR the best one for Onda tab users and it's not even an Onda site really
PS - I made a $5 donation to you for use of the Kasty/Onda update and for your stellar work

I'm having problems with my Onda V813. Do you know how to unbrick this model?
First I couldn't update using OTA to a new version officially available by Onda.
I was able to root it with CWM, using Arctools I installed TWRP in order to update the Android version to 4.2.2 (officially available).
When I booted in recovery, the TWRP opened but the touchscreen didn't work. So, it's stuck in a loop. The only thing I can do is turn on and off.
When I use the Phoenix Suit, it doen't recognize my device. On my device maneger, there is a "exclamation mark" in one of the USB devices.
Apreciate your time and I'm willing to pay for your help!

Sorry for the late answer.
Sadly i don't know many things about the allwinner platform, no tablets from them and i don`t want to test things on your tablet without knowing what i am actually doing.

You can send him a PMÂ to let him know what you need his help, so he knows when he returns in September.
Cheers.Â

Dear Ifix,Â
I bought a second hand 10b G3, and had issues starting it up (not sure if this is flashing). Like you I tried numerous combinations to reset it until someone suggested - When the second Arnova Logo flashes up plug in the power, mines is a little temperamental but after a couple of attempts of pulling the power pin in and out of the socket it goes on okay. As long as I do not switch it off it is fine.
