Due to the large number of soft-unbricking/flashing requests we want to establish a new type of service.
It is about a remote service, where the staff from arctablet.com will remotely TRY to solve your device via a remote connection (VNC, TeamViewer).
We want to start this because the majority of the people:
- are not reading the guides for flashing,
-are not having the necessary knowledge/time/will to finish a flashing procedure
To have an idea of what we are proposing, have a look here http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arnova-7c-g2-android-firmware-development/need-help-to-flash-im-here-1/
As you can see I helped a couple of people, but because the amount of time allocated to each unbrick/flashing it was more than 1 hour sometimes, I decided to stop project.
Those devices that I have repaired where supposed to be sent back to Arnova for repairs, so I saved a lot of people money and time.
Sadly for all my work I have not received not even one donation, which was another reason to stop the project due to lack of motivation.
CONDITIONS
I will do this in my free time.
I can not be held responsible for any broken devices during the flashing process.
I will do my best in recovering already broken devices, but this does not means that is a guarantee that your device will be repaired.
Payment:
- 5 ÂŁ or equivalent of this amount in other currency, eg: 8 US dollars, 6 Euros. for a ROM flashing
-10ÂŁ or equivalent of this amount in other currency, eg 16 US dollars, 12 Euros for unbricking
CHANGE OF CONDITIONS ! READ !!!
Why ?
Well, I fixed some people tablets, and somehow they forgot that they need to donate the little sum of 5 Pounds.
How it will be from now on ?
-donation first, after which I will respond to the query
-if I don`t manage to fix/flash/repair/recover your tablet, the donation will be returned
-I also accept tablets sent by post for those who are from UK, as long as they pay for the postage.
Please do understand that a recovery/flashing process can take from 10 minutes up to 2-3 hours, in that time I am coming up with new approaches/ideas,ways to fix your tablet.
If you think that I should do this for free, then you should fix yourself the tablet.
People that have forgotten to donate after I fixed their tablets.
m0dcm - time spent 2-3 hours. (flash successful)
joshuauk - time spent = around 2 hours (flash successfull)
There at least 2 others, but I don`t remember the names.
If your name is here, you know what to do .

Fantastic idea; but I'm not sure everyone trusts remote access. I think most people aren't setting up the tablets properly though - i.e not holding the reset button long enough, like me I pushed the reset button too shortly and the tablet then booted into recovery mode rather than flash mode. On my tablet, when in flash mode the screen is blank like its turned off - the only way to tell its in flash mode is to check device manager.
But all that aside it will help people flash tablets, install drivers and setup device manager.

Well, to help the people on that side, we are thinking to make a video with each device and show to enter in recovery, and flashing mode.

Love the idea.
When you start raking in the cash, remember who helped figure the 7 G3 out :-p
(obviously kidding, that shared knowledge was just paying forward from a thousand other tutorials I've needed over the years!)
But it would be cool if you could get enough money to get more hardware, if you're really passionate about these devices and helping n00bs

Well is not about the money, some of the ideas from there can be implemented by any big IT provider, but they should do it for free.
We are the last resort in improving the device experience.
Great idea, after all some people take their tablets to repair stores and have no luck, still ending up paying about ÂŁ20.If you could make yourself an organised company though, a lot more people would trust you because you are an actual company. Plus also there is less hassle with shipping, e.t.c. Maybe also using the equity share tactic to provide less hassle on yourself and more good compliments, traffic and money with other qualified people that you hire.
I'd also like to say go for it. And also if you don't manage to fix their tablets, you should half the price, or deduct a certain price, something like that. It's about time technology starts to get more advanced and less primitive and I think this is the way forward.
I've got a question though, how will you manage to connect to people's tablets when they can't even access vnc, or even start their tablet?

It would be worthy if i would have at least 10 unbricking request per day .
At this moment there are barely 2 per month so, to create a business from this is a no go.
Usually i use team viewer, a tablet that does not start in any way, cannot be recovered by me, it must be sent to the manufacturer.
A tablet that starts and it is in boot loop, or it enters in recovery mode, usually can be recovered, at least the ones with a rockchip processor.

Hi everyone,
I only joined yesterday as I saw (on another site) that you have a custom rom for the ONDA V972 which I'm thinking of buying.
I only very recently plucked-up the courage to flash my ONDA Vi40 with a custom rom and the difference is beyond what I had hoped. It made my old thing even better than it was when I took it out of the box!!!
For what it's worth? This is a great idea and that price point is perfect IMO. Not too much to be off-putting to those who are a bit strapped for cash, but not so little as to make it a waste of your time.
I'll have a go myself if/when the need arises but would certainly happily hand it over to you guys if I was to brick my tab.
You're doing amazing things over here

So how does one flash the 7G3 I can get it into the blank screen stage but my computer does not recognise the device I'm using SDK and loaded the google usb driver. My tablet was not in debugging mode. Appreciate any help, will donate €5 through paypal for a fix.
