i downloaded a few apps which then connected to the internet to download extra data. off the top of my head the games were dead space, frontline commando and shadowrun.
as they were not to my tastes i uninstalled them but i am unsure whether the extra data would still be on the device.
there was around 100mb to 150mb of extra data downloaded for each game.
would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the file path?? please bear in mind i am not particularly tech savvy and gave only had the tablet for a week, so im not yet familiar with many of the processes.
the tablet is the arnova 10g2 4gb. i have a 16gb micro sd installed.
when i examine the device with the built in file explorer i see my 16 gb sd card and NAND drive?
any help appreciated.
The Android way to reset an application is going to Settings / Applications / Manage applications, go the All tab and find your application in the list. Doing Clear data and Clear cache will reset application specific settings. I suppose the Uninstall option does that too, prior to remove the application.
Some data hungry programs, specially games may need to use extra storage for their own use, so you'll have to look for that. I don't think there is any standard way of naming these data files, so you'll have to look for it manually in both the tablet and the sdcard storage.
Let us know where you find the data.
