Hey guys , a few days ago I tried playing " Talking Tom Cat 2 " on my Arnova 8c G3 and I found out that when I speak to the cat , it do respond but there is no sound coming out from the tablet , and so do today when I was playing AutoRap , at first it did have sound but after the first time , there is no sound 😐 . I wonder if it was the audio settings that had problems , please help me , I can't take this anymore !!!
Archos / Arnova tablets have rarely been great on sounds. It's either limited in volume (Arnova 10b G3), monophonic (Arnova 7 G3) or low quality (Archos 101 XS).
The Archos 35 Home Connect is maybe the exception, this model's design offers a nice resonance chamber which gave great sound.

I'm not knockinng.these device's sound quality, the external speaker(s) were never meant to compete against a home audio system. .That they have any external sound is a bonus, imo. Plug earbuds or a $60 amplifier into the 1/8" jack, and any mp3 sounds perfect.. The stock ICS music player even has its own pre-amp. No need to even have another player.
And if sound doesn't play from a game, make sure that volume controls in 'settings' are all turned up.
