Hello,
sorry for my english ...
My son was offered a tablet ARNOVA ChildPad for Christmas 2012, he did hardly used at the time. After a long period without use , we recharged the last few days but that lighter screen opens and is registered indicating in blue :
Android system recovey <3 >
Android sytem recovery utility
Reboot system now
Apply update from external storage
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Apply update from Cache
Update firmware ToucheScreen

And bottom in yellow :
E: Can not mout / cache / recovery / command
E: Can not mount / cache / recovery / log
E: Can not mount / cache / recovery / last_log
E : Can not open / cache / recovery / last_log

I press reset but the problem still exists
UBS plugged in on my PC, it recognize but I can not access
I do not have wifi connection.

What to do? Thank you for your help.

Please can someone answer this post as I have exactly the same problem.

The childpad has only one button so there does not seem to be any way to navigate in the recovery setup menu.  The touch screen does not work.

All I want to do is run a factory reset.

My english is perfect and I understand perfecty what guizou14 is asking, so this should not be a reason for not responding to this post since january!!

I think navigating was possible by pressing the power button or holding it a few seconds to navigate through the options.

I thought this too.

All it does is reboot the childpad.

I can't install a firmware... Can I install with the SD card ?
