ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !

I bought a second hand ARNOVA 10c G3. The previous owner had deleted the entire system, probably by making a factory reset. I am not getting any further than to the System Recovery. There is an option 'apply update from external storage'. But vol down does not function therefore I cannot try it.
I have downloaded the firmware update onto the PC (Windows 8.1), but I am not able to transfer the update file to the tablet.
In the settings appears a new device 'android' after connecting the tablet with the pc via USB. The properties of this device contain the option to access two additional removable drives. They are shown here as deactivated and shown in the explorer, where I also cannot access them. Instead I am getting an error message telling me to insert a disk.
I have inserted a SD card into the tablet, containing a copy of the firmware, this card also is not recognized.
This is my first contact with any android device. I spent an entire day googling and did not find a solution. Maybe here somebody has any idea, what I can do?

Thanks for the suggestion.  But I cannot access the device to use apps on it.Â
But I have succeeded a few more steps:
I now have a device AN10CG3 in my device manager. It does not show any USB devices to access.
I have installed ADB and it recognizes the tablet as a device in recovery.
I can root it.Â
The ADB commands connect, remount, sideload, shell all lead to error messages. Â
Fastboot devices shows nothing.
ADB pull / copies all the files from the tablet to the PC.  There is no folder /system/
ADB push update.img /Â Â or /root works but with pull the file is not there.Â
There is a log file called recovery.log in a folder /tmp.  This tells me the brand yftech and name mw07. Â
Here I am stuck again. This is the first time that I experience apparently intact hardware as beyond repair only due to deleted firmware. Â
