I have the Arctablet Custom Firmware 4.0.4 flashed on my Childpad and now i want to update to the new Jelly Bean Firmware.

Is there an option to update whith the CWM Recovery?

When there is an option please tell me how.

Because i have problems with the RK Batch Tool 1.5.

My Childpad is recocnized as an" PMP5080B " device and not as " unknown " so i cant install the RK29.. drivers.

And so the Child Pad is not recocnized by the RK Batch Toll software.

I dont know what happens but when i had flashed the 4.0.4 Version i didnt had any problems.

Please Help me and sorry for my english, my german ist better.

Are you sure you put it in the right recovery mode? Try just keeping only the reset button pressed in(not touching the power button). Just the fact it is recognised as PMP5080B makes me think it is in the CWM recovery or so when you want to flash it...

@ exelletor: Yes you were right.

Now i have flashed the firmware, and after the flshing it comes only the arnova screen and nothing happens.

The same thing after a reboot.

I try my best to get it running.

Did you do erase IDB first? Which parameter file did you use?

Yes i erased idb. I use the 15g parameter. And the other parameters i used as shown in the tutorial for flashing 4.1.1 firmware. I dont know whats wrong but at the 4.0.4 firmware i had not these problem and it was after the first try done

All I can suggest is flash again, but first first to do erase idb and also tick the Loader box before flashing. And after you do a flash, make a screenshot of the flashing program and post it here...

These settings iused. Then i press eraseIDB. After thats ok. I press run. Whenn flashing end with an ok the CWM boot menu opens and then i press "reboot system now". And then the Arnnova screen wont disapear.

When i flash the stock rom or kasty 4.0.4 rom everything is alright. But i want to test Jelly Bean.

Just want to see what the program writes(maybe it just doesn't copy all the parts, don't know why) in the right box too...

Now it runs. My problem was, that i didnt filled in the offset when i checked the square at the loader file.

Sometimes it is to simple.

But in the tutorial the screenshot is wrong. And so i did it as shown in the screenshot.

Thanks a lot for answering my questions.

It is not wrong, just most of the times it is not necessarily to flash the Loader(you just leave the box unticked). Anyways, glad it is working now.
