I have been trawling this forum for some time trying ot get a response to my problem which is not uncommon wih the Childpad product.
There is a screen which says there is an encryption problem and that the data is no longer accesible. It suggests that you perfom a factory reset from the recovery screen.
After following the instructions for this which are almost impossible to understand (I am and IT specialist) you arrive at a menu screen with the recovery options.
HOWEVER, there is no way to acess the recovery options because there is no touch screen functionality and there is no external button which scrolls down the menu. You can only reboot normally the Childpad which takes you back to where you started.
There is no clear response to this question, which I have found on a number of posts.
1. Either the manufacturer has no answer to this as the product is a failure.
2. Or the technical staff are not up to scratch.
3. They don't care, they already have you money.
I hope I am wrong...come on guys give a clear response, or it is one of the 3 options above.

I would love to answer your questions with certaintly, but I think it is capacitive.
I do not know how to get the Rockwell information given that I cannot even get onto the tablet to check out the system config. Maybe you can give me a tip on how to get clues to the configuration.
Its model number is AN7dg3b, it was bought in France in october last year and has not been upgraded.
Tou answer your other question, I cannot swipe or tep the screen in the recovery screen, the only interation wih the tablet is though the on/off button.
