Good to know that you are working on that new kernel...
Hmm chainfire issue,,, i dont see the reason for chainfire not to work with JB.
What driver did you choose to use? Qualcomm, nvidia or that last one i cant remember. Or was the problem that you downloaded the drivers to cf3d and then after the first reboot it just wouldnt finish booting?
On the first firmware release from this great site i am using chainfire 3d with the qualcomm and it just needs to be turned off every other day to work successfully but other than that cf3d works just fine.
guys please help! i just recently installed the JB Custom Firmware on my Arnova 7D G3, it runs smoothly but then after a few minutes of Sleep (about 10-15 mins) it freaks out, its like touching itself and the screen randomly clicks everything and it seems to be not responsive anymore. please help me thanks!
I get no network with this, neither the 0.5G or 1G versions work. It associates fine and gets an IP address, but the indicator never goes from grey to cyan, and i cannot do anything network related at all. AN7DG3-CP20120919EV2.3 works just fine.
It could of course be a JB compatibility problem with this here access point, but i don't have any others to test with right at hand, and it also sounds highly unlikely. Probably one of those "one in a million" cases.
Hoping that a newer kernel will fix it some day.
Please let me now when the 0,5 or 1gb for install apps on the arnova will work. Becourse i whant to have that for my 2 kids that have an Arnove Archos 7D 3G. With the standaard of 512mb roam for apps is not enough. I hope this wil fixed that my kids have more roam to install apps on the tablet.
2x Archos Arnova 7D G3 tablets for my 2 sons.
But i have problems to get microsd working on de arnova 7D G3. Help please!
As far as I know this new update gives you the choice between 512, 1gb or 1.5 gb
So it is already fixed
the first release of the childpad with also featured 1gb option.
So download and get started
about the network error.
It sounds wierd that you are the first to report network issues.
You could off course try and change the encryption on your router, from web, wpa wpa-sk - i mean change it between those to see if that makes any difference.
I seems strange if the kernel should affect it since it can scan, find, establish connection.
....... i'll keep thinking about that.
No, i am not going to change any kind of encryption. It works with the same CP running 4.0.3 and 4.0.4, so the router is not the issue. But yes, it is indeed a strange issue. Gonna try 4.1.1 on a different router when i get the chance (have a nandroid backup of it), cos i firmly believe its a JB issue.
Time will tell
FYI: The router in this setup is a Thomson TG789vn in WPA2 mode.
I'm french so please forgive my mistakes.....
I have a problem with the firmware : All seems to be good, but the sreen is no more touch-sensitive. It is a capacitive, I promise. I've restored the "original" firmware from Arnova, and I have the sreen touch-sensitive back. So i decided to try again with the custom firmware, and that is the same problem.... I can touch anywhere, that does nothing.
PLEASE HEEELP !!
Thanks a lot !
