That's the 1Gb version.

I apologize for my ignorance, however, when I open the Child Pad (resistive) tablet in my file browser, it shows storage space of 2.05 GB, does this make any difference when installing the update image to get Google Play installed?
If you count the values below, you will find 4 Gb

Installed the custom rom, but the only difference i've noticed is the boot loader and the google play store (and super su). Is there something I'm doing wrong as I installed one more app than what was on it before and then it said that i need to free up some more space. I thought the rom was supposed to give double the amount of user space for apps or did i misunderstand ?
I downloaded the kasty-arnchilpadr-40-041-1G one as my childpad appears to be the resistive one.... (got it from post 19)
I wasnt sure if it was capacitive or resistive so tried using a pen lid to check for response on screen..It detected the movement so I deduced that it must be a resistive model ?? (although on the box was ref 502141 which makes it capacitive?)
Been playing around with it and still no joy im afraid....
If I download the capacitive one and try that will it brick the childpad ?
Good to hear that you got it working
And no dont try to flash with image from capacitive if yours is resistive
easy to check if its one or the other. If you can get a reaction on the screen from the top of a pen then its not capacitive
Or you can just check the serial number on the back, if i remember correctly then 512.17x is capacitive.
