I have bought to my kid a new Arnova ChildPad (AN7DG3 4GB) and it should have a capacitive display (if I trust the package label).
I tried to update a firmware from a zip package 'kasty-arnchilpadc-40-04.zip' and it went to the ChildPad device via easy installation. Unfortunately when the device starts up, the display was freezed (i.e. nothing happened).
Now I'm try to find a way return all to back, but is it possible any more? And if it is, pls. could you give me a tip for that.
Hope you can help? Any tips are more than welcome.
There is a special section for the childpad on the forum
You will find here plenty of explanation on how to flash the tablet.
I have checked a lot of those explanations but not found yet, which is suitable for me. One problem is that .. from some reason rockchip tools can't see my childpad device at all. Tried multiple times with several ways but no. I have Windows 7 in my PC.
I have one question in my mind so I have put it in here while tried to found a right solution --> Do I need other applications or programs that I can see what is the inside of my ChildPad? And probably the rockchip tools are the only way to get all back to working?
Thanks in advance and your help so far!
