Hi

I've just installed firmware yar028. it went fine. the i've installed market app. againt it went fine. but when i reboot to finish installing the process, the tablet went to a endless reboot process loop.

Any idea of how to solve this (if it possible)?

Thanks

Just one thing i discovered

If i put the power switch of archos in lock mode it shows a menu 'android system recovery utility' with five options:

Reboot system now

Factory reset

Recovery system

update from SDcard

update from Udisk

But i can't select anything in the screen. the only way to exit this screen is to put the power switch in the center position. The it selects reboot and then goes again to the endless loop reboot...

How to exit from it?

thanks

I am not sure on how the recovery menu works on the 7 HTv1 tablet.

One good way to recover from a bricked tablet is to use the Rockchip Flashing tool:

To flash again the custom firmware or flash the default firmware.

Hi!

Many thanks for your quick reply. It worked!!!

For the record, just if someone has the same issue, this were the steps i followed.

- Because of the loop reboot, i can't power off archos, so i had to let battery full discharge.

- Once the battery was full discarged, i followed admin's link instructions. I know it's has a lot of risk, but i haven't pluged tablet to charge battery again during flash process (don't do it in your home without parental supervision [Image Can Not Be Found]), it worked for me even with the little battery remaining. in fact, if i pluged it to charge battery loop boot started again, so it was flashing or nothing.

Now i have tablet working again, but i haven't installed market… i'm not sure, but i think this was the origin of my problem. for now i can live with out it.

Again, many thanks for your help.
