My previous (up to 8 ARNOVA G2) development.
ROM is based on CustomROM for ARNOVA 7 of hdwfolf from ArchosFans.
Features of the firmware:
Android v.2.2.1 (froyo) Root & Market, the status bar black.
Download: arch7c_mod2-2.zip
China phone: Star A5000 => Star N8000
Tablets: Archos 7C HT - Android 2.2.1 my custom ROM => ARNOVA 8G2 8Gb capactive, s_MorkaMod JB 1.2

hey whats up...i really need some serious help...i tried to root my archos 7c ht..now its stuck on welcome screen archos entertainment my way...can some one please instruct me on how to correct this issue...

also, i cannot access my memory stick when i hook up my usb from tab to pc..

I have some applications that doesn't launch with this firmware, would it be possible to make it more stable for this problem?

Which applications do not launch ?
When I have some time, I'll see if I can adapt hvdwolf firmware for Archos 7HTv2 to the 7cHT.

The application does not start is the video player but it's possible that others do not work either (and I think the AppsLib is no longer available either).

I wouldn't count on it too much if I were you.
There are probably better hopes with independent custom firmwares.
