Every time I boot/reboot my diamond I get an android system message saying:
The update failed, this should be a temporary issue, we'll retry later."
This seems not to be the case, since I get it repeatedly every time. Apparently there are no major problems in the phone as everything is working properly.
Any suggestion on how to fix it?
PS: if I run the System Update function within the android options it says that the firmware is up to date
I had the same problem (after my first attempt to root the phone, see separate thread) and never got an answer here in the forum and I never found the solution of the problem BUT for quite a while now the message is not shown any more. Unfortunately I do not know what made it disappear.
The last firmware update came in spring last year. Archos published a beta version of Lollipop in last autumn but they never released a final Lollipop version and I suppose that they never will do.
