Im facing the same issue.
Once before I was successful by first wiping out everything with flashfire, and after that flash the image. reboot in between.
I havent had the chance to try this method this time, perhaps tomorrow, but I m not sure if I have the time to backup restore everything... Please let me know if this works for you!
Just doesn't work for me.
After pushing 'Flash' in Flashfire I get a black screen and nothing more happens.
I need to press power for ~20 seconds to get the phone to reboot.
Xposed says 'Framework not installed'.
Maybe there are some minor hardware differences which prevent Flashfire from working on all Diamonds .
I had this issue when I was trying to flash with the zip file in the extern storage. Try to put the file in /storage/sdcard0
To bad it did not help to put the zip file in /storage/sdcard0. As a matter of fact flashfire gives the same result no matter what action I choose. It reboots, and ends in a black screen with backlight. Even with only wipe action. I left it for more than 15 minutes, but nothing happens. Sometimes 20 seconds power button doesnt help to reboot and I have to press power and volume down together to bootup again.
I dont think this is a hardware issue. I did have succeeded with my diamond and flashfire earlyier when my root was not permanent yet. And it worked. After that I rooted my phone again (permanent this time) and now I m unable to install the Xposed zip file.
Tried also with other flash tools (flashify, Rashr) and with recovery to install it, but no success (recovery thinks the file is not good on filecheck, but a redownload does nothing more).
After I thought I had my phone rooted and Xposed installed (but appeared later not to be permanent) I enabled Fusion Storage. Of course I have it disabled again for now, but perhaps there is still something preventing flashfire to function for now ???
Does anybody have any good ideas to get Xposed framework installed???
Would factory reset give any more chance?
Admins/Users, when you have time, please check this thread as well (about the Archos Diamond Plus), I am not spamming, it's just that I can't find another way to draw any attention to it.
