Hi,

I am tearing my head off trying to make some version of dosbox to run on Arnova 10 (Gen 1). I tried with both the latest standard firmware and the update to android v2.2 from arctablet. I tried some different versions of DosBox, that are supposed to run from v2.1 and some v2.2 (aDosBox for instance).

They all give the same result when trying to launch, the screen goes black for two seconds, then back again, and the dosbox is not started.

Additionally the android dos box tutorial confuses me by saying that the dosbox.config file is overwritten on each startup, unless one clicks an option within dosbox, but as I never get dosbox to start… (chicken-and-egg-scenario).

Anyone ever had and solved this problem?

The problem is aDosBox is no longer supported and hasn't been for over a year.

Do yourself a favor and get [[** please register to see this link **]] and features of this bad boy.  Trust me, once you try DosBox Turbo, you'll wonder why you were torturing yourself trying to get aDosBox to work.

Nice sales pitch, doesn't answer my question though. Turbo version is one of those that don't work.

Dos Boxes are all as far as I know built on the same core, Dosbox 0.74 for linux. There is some other fundamental issue here, processor incompatibility perhaps.
